Medhu vada is a great and tasty appetizer. The medhu vada is always served with a chutney. Making the perfect batter is the secret of this recipe. Give it a try and eat tasteful vadas.
Preparation Time - 30 mins
Soaking Time- 2 hours
Ingredients:
Urad dhal - 2cups
Onion- 1 chopped
Greenc hilli -1
Ginger - small piece chopped
Pepper- 1/4tsp
Curry leaves- 1 spring
Salt to taste
Rice flour- 1tbsp
Oil for frying
Procedure:
1. Soak urad dal for 2 hours
2. Take your ingredients
3. Grind the urad dhal to a fine paste by adding very little water.
4. Add 1 tbsp of rice flour
5. Add the chopped ingredients and mix well.
6. Take a portion of the batter and make it into a round shape and put a hole in the middle. Rub your hands with little water to form the vada shape.
7. Deep fry the vadas in oil till it becomes light golden brown.
Yummy and tasty ulundhu vada is ready..

Note:
The batter should be thick and also fluffy so as to make the vadas crispy outside and soft inside.
