Pazham Pori / Pazham Bajji / Banana Fritters


Nendhram pazham pori as its called in kerala is an all time favorite snack of Malayalees. This is a typical evening tea time snack. If you get sudden guests then its a perfect snack to serve them because its tasty and simple to make. Hope you will try this one .

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 15-20 mins


Ingredients:

Nenthiram Pazham- 2
Maida- 2 cups
Egg- 1
Sugar- 3 tbsp
Salt- A pinch
Cooking Soda- A pinch
Coconut Milk- 1 cup
Oil for frying


Procedure:

 1. Cut banana lengthwise.


2. Take all your other ingredients.


3. Put maida, egg, sugar, salt, baking soda in a mixing bowl.


4. Add coconut milk and water if needed and make it into a batter.



5. Heat oil simultaneously.


6. Make the batter. The batter should have this pouring consistency.


7. Now dip the banana pieces in the batter and gently drop in the oil.


8. Flip the banana pieces to cook well.


9. Take it out and place it on a tissue paper 2 avoid excess oil. Serve hot.



Note:
Adding ghee over the hot pazham pooris makes it taste more yummy and heavenly.
