Cream of Mushroom Soup


A really simple mushroom soup recipe for mushroom lovers! I'm fond of mushrooms so i really got tempted when cooking this soup. This soup tastes much richer than you would expect. Its a satisfying soup recipe hope you will give it a try.

Preparation time: 15 mins
Cooking time: 25 mins

Ingredients:

Onion- 1 small
Mushroom- 200 grams
Butter- 2 tsp
Maida- 2 tbspn
Water- 3 cups
Milk- 1 cup
Coriander leaves- 2 tbspn
Pepper to taste
Salt to taste
Garlic- 2 cloves

Procedure:

1. Heat butter in a pan.

2. Add finely chopped onion and garlic. Saute till it turn translucent.



3. Add in sliced mushroom and toss well in the butter. As you saute, water will leach out from the mushroom,cook on high heat. Saute till all the water dries up and mushrooms are light brown.



4. Now add maida and saute for 3-4 mins stirring often.


5. Add water, salt and pepper. Mix well.


6. Bring it to to boil.

7. When it starts boiling, simmer for few mins.


8. Add the milk and mix well.


9. Turn off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.


10. Serve hot.


Sooo tasty...

Notes:
   Instead of maida you can use wheat flour or corn flour.
