Broken egg Curry / Poached egg curry


If you want a different recipe using egg, then you can try this. This is a gravy dish which goes well with the Idiyappam. In fact I would say that Idiyappam and Broken egg curry are made for each other. The procedure is very simple. You have to first prepare the coconut based gravy, and then pour the egg one by one to it. Thats it. The main thing you need to keep in mind is that, do not stir the gravy after you have added the eggs. If you do so, then you will not get the right consistency which we require instead you will end up preparing a different recipe. As you can see in the picture, the egg whites should be thick and kind of in one piece. It doesn't matter if it slightly breaks. But make sure you don't scramble it.

Chicken Pasta / Macaroni


Pastas are the staple food of traditional italian cuisine. There are so many varieties of preparing pasta. If you crave for something saucy to eat and easy to cook dinner, just go for this recipe. Although it is creamy and saucy, I have added an indian touch to it, which enlightens the food. Because i love the indian touch added to the international cuisines. Kids will love this. I have used boneless chicken cubes for this recipe. You can even add minced chicken or minced beef. This pasta can be served as dinner or breakfast.

Aatu kaal Soup/ Mutton Leg Soup


Mutton leg soup or Aatu kaal Soup is nothing but the soup of the Lamb legs. Please make sure the legs are well cleaned and are smoked. Here in hypermarkets we get cleaned lamb legs. But they are not smoked. So what I do is, I just show the piece of lamb leg in the stove one by one holding it with a skewer or knife. So that you get a smoked effect. Its totally optional but I recommend you to follow this step. Since this smoked flavor is irresistible. The mutton leg's are rich in calcium and protein. So you can give this soup to your kids often and also to weak patients. Once you make this recipe, If you have left over bones then you can make Mutton Leg Paaya out of it. Rabri / Sweet Rabri / Rabdi



Rabri is prepared using full fat milk. It is nothing but reduced milk with sweetness and nuts. It is a rich dessert that enlightens your mood when you eat it. Normally we dont eat this often due to its high calories. But for a family get together or on special occasions this is a best dessert to go with. It tastes best when refrigerated. You can adjust the thickness of the rabri as per your taste. This is the base for Rasmalai and Shahi Tukda. If you don't have condensed milk, then you can skip it and increase the sugar quantity. But I personally recommend you to use condensed milk since it gives more richness to the dessert.

Potato Roast Semi Gravy


A perfect and easy side dish for chappathi. When you are lazy and you want something quick and easy to be made along with chappathis or pooris you can go for this as it takes less time to prepare. Most of us like potatoes especially when it is fried than the boiled ones. In this recipe the potatoes are fried and add to the curry so it tastes more good. Then the addition of coconut milk adds extra taste mainly when it is allowed to be thickened in the curry. It gives different aroma to the gravy. Definitely try this easy roast and let us know .

Want to try anything healthy and easy. Here it is.. Low carb zucchini pasta called "zoodles" Its a cool alternative to usual pasta. All you need is a spiralizer or julienne peeler to get a spaghetti-like noodles. Even if you dont own an one, you can thinly slice the zucchini length-wise and then julienne it. But this is a different recipe where we cook tapioca and fish together. It tastes awesome. You can have it as a side dish for rice. It is a 100% finger licking dish.
