Chicken Roast

We can make variety of dishes with chicken and this is one of the type. I got this recipe from my mom and its my favorite too. With simple ingredients you can make this tasty chicken roast. Hope you will give it a shot.

Preparation Time: 15-20 mins
Cooking Time: 20 mins


Ingredients:

Chicken- 750 g
Onion- 1 big
Tomato- 1
Capsicum- 2 small
Red chilli powder- 2- 3 tsp
Fennel powder- 1 tbsp
Cumin powder- 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
Tomato sauce- 1 tbsp
Soya sauce- 3 tsp
Cornflour slurry- 2 tbsp ( mix little cornflour with little water to make a paste)
Salt to taste


Procedure:

1. Take chicken in a bowl and marinate chicken with chicken fry masala for about 15 mins. After that slighty fry those chicken pieces and keep it aside.


2. Now cut your veggies and keep it ready.


3. Heat oil in a kadai and add the onions. Saute them till it becomes translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw smell leaves.


4. Add the tomatoes and saute well. Now add the capsicum and give a mix.


5. Now add the masalas, salt and stir well.


6. Add the fried chicken pieces to it and gently mix well.


7. Add the sauces and mix well. Add little water and allow it to boil. After that simmer it for few mins and the gravy starts to thicken.  Finally add the cornflour slurry, cover and cook for 5 mins. (If you want little gravy then don't add the slurry because it will make more thick gravy) 


Tasty chicken roast is ready to serve..
