Potato Podimas Paratha / Potato Stuffed Paratha


This is one of the types of stuffed chapathis. Using potato podimas as stuffing this chappathi is made.  This is one complete meal and you don't need any side dish. If needed you can have it with curd or raita. Try this easy and healthy potato podimas stuffed chappathi.

Preparation Time: 20 mins
Cooking Time: 10 mins

Ingredients:

Wheat flour- 2 cups
Potato- 2
Onion- 1
Green chilli- 1
Curry leaves- 1 spring
Coriander leaves- few
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Pepper-1 tsp
Oil- 3 tbsp
Salt to taste

Procedure:

1. In a cooker, heat oil and put curry leaves.


2. Add onions, green chilli and saute well.


3. Add potatoes, spice powders and salt. Mix them all together.


4. Add little water and pressure cook to make the stuffing.


5. Prepare the dough and make evenly sized balls.


6. Roll it to a small circle and keep the stuffing.



7. Fold the sides of the circle to form a square patty.


8. Roll the patty gently to make chapatis.


9. Heat the tawa and cook the chapattis.


10. Serve hot.
