Beef Cutlet / Meat Cutlet


When i was in school days, in the town they opened a new bakery. We get delicious cutlets, chicken rolls, these kind of stuff, My mother is a genius in cooking, Her talent is that, she tastes the food from hotels and tries out by herself the same recipe. Thus she found this one. Its a perfect evening snack. And its healthy when you prepare it in home instead of buying outside. You can just have it without any sauce or dip because the cutlet itself taste delicious and flavorsome. When we go out for picnic, we make a bunch of these and have it with hot chai. Its easy to make so i hope you will try this and enjoy the taste .

Cooking Time: 15 mins
Makes: 12 to 15

Ingredients:

Beef'-1/4 kg minced
Potato- 400 gm
Onion- 2 medium sized chopped finely
Green chilli- 2 chopped finely
Chilli powder- 2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Fennal powder- 3 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
Egg- 1 beaten
Corriander leaves- 4 tbsp chopped finely
Bread crumbs- for coating
Salt to taste.

Procedure:

1. Prepare all your ingredients.


2. Pressure cook the minced beef and potato with chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and salt for 1 whistle.


3. After the pressure got released drain the excess water using a colander.


4. Mash the minced beef and potatoes roughly.


5. Add fennel powder, garam masala, chopped green chilli, onion and corriander leaves.


6. Mix well and shape it into patties.


7. Dip each patty in the beaten egg and coat it well with bread crumbs.



8. Prepare all your patties in the same manner.


9. Fry the patties in hot oil until it turns golden brown on both sides.


10. Serve the cutlets with tomato sauce..
