Fish Fry

A simple and a different style of fish fry. Frying the fish is not a big deal but enhancing the taste and hoping for the best flavored are always appreciated, right?? Here, I used garlic to enhance the flavor and taste.. And I'm sure definitely you will get a different flavorful fish fry ..

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Marination Time: 20 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Serving suggestions: Fish biryani, Rice platter..

Ingredients:

Fish- 1/4 kg(here I used king fish..can also use any white fleshy fish)
Lemon juice-1/2 tsp (optional)
Oil- for frying

For marinate:

Garlic- 4 to 5 pods
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
Fennel powder- 1/2 tsp
Garam masala- 1/4 tsp(optional)
Oil- 1 tsp

Procedure:

1. Wash and clean the fish pieces.

2. Its an optional step. Here I used lemon juice for cleaning the fish pieces ( because i don't want the fishy smell, that can ruin the flavor).

3. In a mixer, add the ingredients given under marination.

4. Grind it to a fine paste.

4. Marinate the fish pieces using the ground paste. Let them marinate for about 20 mins.

5. In a hot tawa. Add oil and keep the fish pieces one by one.

6. Let them fry on a medium to low flame.

7. Once done, flip the fish pieces and allow them to cook both sides even.

8. Spicy flavorful fish fry is ready to serve..
