This chicken gravy is almost similar to the usual chicken curry but quite a modified version of that. Here the onions and tomatoes are grinded so the gravy gives a creamy texture. It's easy to prepare and its tasty too. It goes well with Dosa, Aappam, Rotti, Ghee rice. Give it a try .

Ingredients:
Chicken- 1/2 kg
Onion- 2
Tomato- 2
Green chilli-n1
Ginger Garlic paste- 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder- 2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 2 tsp
Fennel powder- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Oil as needed

Procedure:
1. Marinate the cleaned chicken with 1/2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste and salt. Chop the onions and tomato.

2. Heat oil in a kadai, Add onions and saute till it becomes translucent. Then add the tomato and green chilli. Saute for few minutes. Now add the ginger garlic paste. Cook till the raw smell leaves.
3. Now add all the spice powders and saute well.
4. Switch off the heat and allow it to cool.
5. Take a blender and grind this mixture into a fine paste.
6. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add the marinated chicken and saute for a minute.
7. Now add the ground masala and mix well with the chicken. Add the required salt.
8. Pressure cook for two whistles and garnish with coriander leaves.
Creamy chicken gravy is ready to serve.
