Rice Banana Kheer- Guest Post

She is a 7th grade student who got very interested when we asked for guest recipes. She shared her simple and easy rice banana kheer recipe with us. Amazed by her love towards cooking we share her recipe with you all. Enjoy it .

Preparation Time: 25 mins
Cooking Time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

Basmati Rice- 3/4 cup
Banana-1 1/2
Milk- 1/2 litre
Condensed Milk- 1/2 tin
Ghee- 2 tbsp
Cashews- 1 tbsp
Raisins- 1/2 tbsp
Sugar- 3-4 tbsp+1 tsp
Water- 1 cup & more

Procedure:

1. Soak basmati rice in water for about 20 mins.
2. Cut banana into small pieces and keep aside.
3. Heat milk and one cup water in a pan and allow it to boil.
4. When the milk is boiling add the soaked rice to it.
5. Add more water inorder to get the rice cooked very well so as to get a smooth bite.
6. Now add sugar and condensed milk and mix gently. Simmer the flame.
7. Meanwhile heat ghee in a pan and fry cashews and raisins till golden brown.
8. In the same pan fry the banana pieces along with 1 tsp sugar till it becomes smooth.
9. Add the banana pieces, fried cashews and raisins to the cooked rice and mix then softly and turn off the stove.
10. Serve it hot or cold.

Note:
You can add cardamom powder to get a flavor.
