We all love to have something to munch along with hot tea or coffee on a leisure evening and that too if the snack is made with chicken then definitely there is no doubt in excitement. In that way this chicken pakoda will surely do it. Such a crunchy and delicious evening snack. Having this snack with hot cardamom tea in rainy evening is something we all wish for. Marination Time: 20 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Serves: 3
Ingredients:
Boneless Chicken- 250 g cut into medium pieces
Chilli Powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder- 1/4 tsp
Fennel Powder- 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder- 1/4 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste- 2 tsp
Egg- 1
Besan / Chickpea flour- 4 tbsp
Corn flour- 1 tbsp
Curry Leaves- 1 spring
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste
Procedure:
1. Take the boneless chicken pieces in a bowl and add the masalas, salt and ginger garlic paste. Mix them well and allow it to rest for 10 to 15 mins.
2. Add the egg, chick pea flour and corn flour to it and gently mix them all together. Keep it aside and let it rest for 5 more minutes.
3. Heat enough oil for deep frying in a wok and slowly add the chicken pieces. Fry them till it turns golden brown color.
4. Along with this fry the curry leaves and add it to the chicken pakodas.
5. Place the chicken pakodas in a tissue paper to drain the excess oil and serve hot with a cup of tea or coffee.
