Mutton Kappa Briyani is a fabulous kerala cuisine. I really wanted to try something different with tapioca so i opted this tasty briyani and it turned out awesome. Many people ignore tapioca from the diet as it is related to gastric problems but it contains a good amount of fiber that is good for maintaining our health. Usually kappa and fish goes well but you can combine kappa and mutton or beef also. It really tastes great. So if you are thinking to try a variety dish with non-veg then definitely you can choose this. Go ahead and taste a yummy dish ..

Nethili Vada / Anchovies Fritters
Anchovies are always a tasty one. When you are bored of cooking ordinary fish fry and you want something different, then this is a must try recipe. It is a great side dish for rice with rasam. You can also have it as a snack. Try these types of dishes..and yes, you will be fed up with cleaning these tiny little things but damn sure the result will be appreciated. You wont get the fish smell at all. When you make the patties, make it small and flatten it a little bit so that it gets easily cooked inside .

Semiya Mutton Briyani / Vermicelli Mutton Biryani
Usually we make briyani with rice. This is a recipe where we use semiya instead of rice. You can make this recipe using mutton or chicken. I have used roasted semiya for this recipe. If you don't have that, then just add a tbsp of ghee in a pan and roast the semiya till the color turns light brown. If you have left over mutton curry then it is a very easy one to make. You can visit our blog for mutton gravy recipes.
Ratio for semiya and water is 1:1.5. You can adjust the measures according to the amount of gravy you use for cooking .
